About Andy

I was born and raised in Maryland, and I’m a graduate of the University of Virginia. My professional experience includes a tour of duty in the U.S. Marine Corps, brief stints in the building trades and nonprofit sector, and nine years in the corporate world.

For the past several years I’ve been a vice president at a small but growing company, where I am responsible for writing and editing across all channels of corporate communication. I’m also charged with procurement functions, product pricing management, and advising our executive team on various matters.

I live in Central Virginia with my wife and children. When I’m not working to earn an income or chipping away at house projects, I like to practice judo with my kids, and help my wife with other aspects of their education. Here are some random additional facts about me:
